Step City turns your daily step count into a town you build in the app.
What we read
Step City reads one type of health data: your daily step count (Apple Health: Steps; Health Connect: Steps). Read-only. We never write to Apple Health or Health Connect and never read any other data type.
Why
Your step count becomes the steps you spend on the town you build in the app, shown on the City and Journey screens. That is the only use.
Where it stays
Step data is stored only on your device, in a file that is not included in iCloud or Google backups. It is never uploaded, sold, shared, or used for advertising or marketing. The buildings you built are saved with your phone's normal backup.
From when
Steps are counted from the day you connect. Earlier history is not read.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple / Google and validated by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID and your purchase record. To have that record deleted, email suleyman@craftmindco.com. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Turning it off
iPhone: Health app → Profile → Privacy → Apps → Step City. Android: Health Connect → App permissions → Step City. Profile → Reset city deletes your town and step file from this phone; uninstalling deletes everything.
Children
Step City is not directed at children.
