Campfire Habits is a habit tracker that works entirely on your phone. We do not run an account system, a server that holds your data, analytics, advertising or tracking.
What stays on your device
Your habits, reasons, check-ins, relights and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. We cannot see them, and we cannot recover them for you. They may be included in your own device backup (iCloud or Google), which your platform controls. You can export everything as JSON text through the share sheet or reset all data in Settings at any time. We do not claim that this data is encrypted beyond your phone's own protection.
Purchases
The optional one-time Premium purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to validate it. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user ID and your purchase receipt so the app can tell whether Premium is unlocked. Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn reminders on. No push token is created, and nothing is sent to a server.
Data we collect
None, apart from the purchase data above. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising IDs, and no location, contacts, camera or microphone access.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
